Another reason is that the best schools in some regions, not meeting one or more criteria of accrediting international institutions, have decided not to change their policy. Prominent examples are the top US business schools: Harvard Business School, Wharton, Stanford GSB, Columbia Business School, Chicago Booth, etc., which do not meet the requirements for three years of work experience for students nominated by AMBA.
Thus, the accreditation of the « Triple Crown » is a mark of quality for MBA programs around the world, which consider the relevant experience to be a fundamental factor in the successful completion of the program.
In Ukraine, no educational institution has triple accreditation, however, the MBA programs of the University of Sheffield in Ukraine and the International Institute of Business are AMBA accredited.
